Absolutely, the Car Park within the Show Field FREE!  We have experienced people on hand to guide you to a spot just a short walk away from the entrances. Is there a cash machine on site?

No but all traders are equipped to take card payments.

Is the Show suitable for disabled visitors?

We are delighted to welcome all visitors, but please be aware that the event takes place in fields so individuals must make their own assessment as to how easy it will be for them to navigate the Show Field, especially during wet weather when there may be some mud…….

If I leave the event, can I come back in?

Yes, of course. Just make sure your hand is stamped before you leave, or I’m afraid you’ll have to pay again.

What events does the Show have?

Keep and eye on our social media pages for updates but you can expect to see cattle, sheep, horses, vintage tractors, flower show, baking and craft competitions, food fair, craft fair, children’s races, hill race, solo piping competition, funfair, highland dancing, pipe band, heavyweight events, terrier racing

I’m interested in the Hill Race

Entries for the Hill Race are taken on the day.  Simply register at the Secretary’s office by 2.00pm and the race begins at 3.00pm.  The course is approximately 7km long with a 240m rise in altitude.

Can I bring my dog?

Absolutely! We have a Pet Show on Friday and a FUN Dog Show on Saturday.

Please bear in mind though, that the show can get very busy with both people and animals so make sure you know your dog will be comfortable in this type of environment.  Dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times within the show field, and we kindly request that you clean up after them.

Are refreshments available?

We have a great range of stalls, many local, selling all manner of food, drink and snacks.  Definitely something to suit all tastes.  There is also a bar on site.

What if it rains?

We all know what the weather in Scotland can be like, even in August.  Some of the exhibits are in tents – but the Main Ring and most of the action takes place outside, rain or shine.  Bring your jacket and boots and you’ll just fine.
